The Virgo Woman
Virgo’s symbol, the Virgin, shows itself in the lives of Virgos through a love of all that is “natural” and a certain purity of spirit that keeps Virgos self-sufficient and self-contained, at least on the surface. She is very discerning, a natural critic, and a sharp analyzer of everything and everyone. The Virgo woman in your life is liable to wave a magic hand over chaos, imposing a gentle, perfect order on your universe. Governed by Earth, she is inherently practical, basing her thoughts on reality, not imagination. Sensation and experience are more important than emotion and fantasy.
The Virgo woman’s meticulous nature carries through to her appearance. She generally pays more attention to her appearance than she’d like to let on, and doesn’t like to get caught with a bad hair day, or sloppy clothing. Minimalist, sophisticated, and cool, her fashion sense reflects her perfect personality. She prefers simple, clean lines which are tailored to fit well and to last more than one season. She does not usually wear trends, knowing that true style never goes out of fashion. Conservative grey and practical navy blue are favored colors of this refined Virgo woman. Her attire will be practical and sophisticated, but very appealing.
Reliable and helpful, a Virgo friend will be on call for you at every important event in your life, be it first kiss, second baby, or third husband. Her critical nature and practical personality combine to make a friend who gives excellent advice when asked for. She can be a tad reserved when it comes to big exhibits of emotion. However, because of this reserve, she may not hear praise often enough, so please don’t hold back when it comes to gratitude – just try to keep it quiet and heartfelt.
Rarely satisfied with the way things are, the overly analytical Virgo woman can be her own worst enemy when it comes to enjoying life, leisure, and relationships. This is not to say that Ms. Virgo doesn’t experience impulsive and powerful attractions, because she does. She needs love as much as any other sign in the zodiac, but remains skeptical of grand gestures and big displays, giving more weight to simpler, quieter shows of appreciation. If your lady is a Virgo, show her that you like her at her worst, as well as at her best. Allow her to take time to relax and gently pull her away from her everyday cares. Nothing turns off a Virgo faster than dirt or mess. If you don’t get organized, before you know it, she’ll be out of bed and cleaning up the place. As good as it sounds, to have some lovely geisha cleaning up your pig sty, think about it; if she’s stacking dishes in the dishwasher, she isn’t making love to you. She isn’t impressed with luxury, so don’t worry about having things “good enough” for her–crisp, just laundered cotton sheets and some soft pillows are fine.
Don’t think that means she lacks passion. Quite the contrary! Virgos are just better at controlling their intense, smoldering feelings, but once released, watch out! When you make love, be sure to talk to her during sex because nothing is as erotic to her as her vivid imagination. Describe places and situations where you would like to make love to her down to the tiniest details. A strong, confident lover will draw out the best of sexual Virgo, as long as her partner is secure and takes the initiative. If you can break down her guards, she may just give full vent to her unpredictable and unplanned passions.
The Virgo Man
Ruled by Mercury, you will never a find a Virgo man standing still for long. As fleet-footed as the Roman god that rules him, the Virgo man is a bundle of energy both mentally and physically. From his melodious voice to his tender gaze, there’s something soothing about the Virgo man. He is a powerhouse of achievement, often solving the next complex problem in his head while his hands do the work of the moment. Precise, exact, and critical, the Virgo man knows that the devil is in the details, and he pays attention to them. He is also hardworking, efficient, and methodical and can usually work or reason his way out of any challenge. His goal is perfectionism, in himself, first, then his work, then the others around him, and finally the world.
