Sun in Taurus; April 19th – May 20th, 2016 ☀♉

“If I know what love is, it is because of you.”
― Hermann Hesse

It’s time to stop and smell the roses as the Sun enters sensual Taurus on Tuesday, April 19th for its month-long journey. In Taurus our senses are awakened to fall in love all over again with the things that make us feel good to look at, touch and taste. Spring has sprung, love is in the air, the weather is warming up and our attention turns to enjoying the finer things in life.

Venus-ruled Taurus is a lover of the physical 3D experience and is most at home when surrounded by scenic wonders — fresh grass, blooming flowers and deep forests. Intimate moments in a cozy, beautiful atmosphere (preferably with great food and wine) is Taurus‘ idea of a good time.

We’ll all be bitten by the luxury bug. But this doesn’t mean a frivolous shopping spree. Luxury applies to the best of the best, not the most expensive. Where Taurus is concerned, the value of something far exceeds whatever its price might be; values that exists in the present, unlike spiritual values (connected to an eternal future) or emotional values (connected to our sentimental attachment to the past).

“Adopt the pace of nature: her secret is patience.”
― Ralph Waldo Emerson

Let’s surround ourselves with beauty and physical comforts, like Taurus always does, and we’ll find this phase to be a wonderful opportunity to nurture our souls. *reaches for a piece of dark chocolate*

Happy Solar Return, Taurus! ♥
