The Sagittarius Woman
Wild, feisty, independent and exciting, Sagittarius is the wild child of the zodiac. There is an ever present need for adventure and a certain degree of wanderlust to these ladies. Their motto is nothing ventured, nothing gained. Sagittarius is the sign of the philosopher and the explorer, they will go as far as the road will, and explore every corner thoroughly in their eternal search for wisdom. Sagittarius seems to be guided by luck. Despite hardships they’re always optimistic; good things will happen tomorrow, and the future carries good fortune. If you lined up twelve people at the top of a cliff, one of each sun sign, the Sagittarian would probably be the first one to jump, content that something, somehow would prevent them going splat at the bottom. And something somehow probably would. She has a bright, cheerful demeanor that can be disarming. It’s no accident that Sagittarius comes after the dark, penetrating and probing personality of Scorpio, and before the contracting nature of Capricorn. Ruled by Jupiter, the key word that describes Sagittarius is “expansion”. This is important because everything a Sagittarius woman does, carries that overture, and seems larger than life. Her sign rules the centaur; half man, half horse, pointing high toward the sky, which symbolizes her quest to reach the lofty goals she’s set. To say she’s an eclectic dresser would be putting it mildly. To slavishly wear what everyone else is wearing is never her thing. She likes pieces she has picked up on her travels – a quilted jacket from Beijing, an embroidered skirt from Turkey, or something that just looks amazing from a backstreet boutique in Paris. The Sagittarian woman is hung up on one thing – freedom. She doesn’t like to have too many possessions, reasoning that too much stuff ends up owning you. But she might sport an ankh, or a strange ring she found in a Hong Kong antique shop. All the better if it’s rumored to be cursed. She does like bags – big ones she can put over her shoulders and pack all her belongings in. It’s an uncomplicated style that invites you to drop your defenses, too, and just “be.” This, coupled with their knowledge of culture, philosophy, and the best ethnic restaurants, make her a much sought after conversationalist. If you ever want your world expanded, talk to your Sagittarian friend.
